1. Change your administrator's login account & password
A lot of people will not change the default login information and keep factory settings, it's very dangerous and will have the chances to be attacked by hackers, so please change your account and password right now, and also make sure your password is strong enough
Go to http://router.asus.com > Administration > System
2. Setup password protection mechanism
To prevent from brute-force attack, we suggest you to enable password protection on AiCloud.
- Go to http://router.asus.com > AiCloud > Setting.
- Enable password protection feature.
- Setup max number of failed login attempts in a time period.
- Click apply.
And the most important is to keep your firmware stay up to date!
